There are a few professional golfers who have come from very poor backgrounds. One example is Pádraig Harrington, who was born in a small town in Ireland and didn’t even start playing golf until he was 14 years old. He worked odd jobs to save up money to buy his first set of clubs.
Another example is Kyle Stanley, who was born and raised in a trailer park in Washington state. His family didn’t have much money, so he started working at a golf course when he was just 10 years old. He caddied for people, cleaned clubs, and did whatever else he could to make money.
These two golfers are just a few examples of how anyone can achieve success if they work hard enough. Regardless of your background or where you come from, with enough dedication and determination, you can achieve anything you set your mind to. So don’t let anyone tell you that you can’t do something – just go out and do it!
Growing up in Australia, Jason Day was poor. The rise of professional golf player Jason Day is inspiring. Tiger Woods wasn’t wealthy when he was younger, but he wasn’t destitute either. His father was in the military.
